IGOLO NJABA RECEIVED AT A HOMECOMING CEREMONY, ORGANISED BY IGOLO NJABA POWERFUL GRASSROOTS WOMEN
Rt. Hon. Amb. Dr Uju Onwudiwe, Igolo Njaba, was on Thursday, received at a homecoming ceremony organised by Igolo Njaba powerful grassroots women, Njaba Local Government.
The event which held at Njaba Local Government Headquarters, Nnenasaa, under the chairmanship of Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, Abana, GLO of Amucha ward 1, had dignitaries such as the Sole Administrator of Njaba LGA, Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Hon. Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu, Chief Political Adviser to the governor and Head of Political Bureau, and a host of other friends and associates in attendance.
The women congratulated Dr Uju Onwudiwe for completing her eight years in Legislative office and Expressed their profound satisfaction with her quality of work delivery. They affirmed that she performed excellently and therefore deserves to be accorded honour of homecoming.
The Director General of the women group, Hon. Mrs Theresa Nwaechesi, (Beta Mrs), while presenting her welcome address, urged the governor to continue in his good works and to further saddle Igolo Njaba with higher responsibilities and positions of honour to enable her serve at a higher capacity. She assured that with Igolo Njaba at the centre, the women will do all they can to deliver the grassroots, a terrain they are conversant with.
The Sole Administrator, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi assured the women that he will never rest on his oars in his effort to provide quality service, security and Progressive Administration to the people urging them to mobilize for the re-election of Government Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko, as the only way forward for Njaba people.
Speaking at the event Hon. Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu expressed pleasant surprise and stated that he has learned something new. He said that this is the first time he is witnessing a fact that those who supported a politician when the journey was starting are there when the tenure ends, to receive and commend her performance. He added that in most cases, those who started the journey fall out with their principal due to one reason or the other but evidently, Igolo Njaba has maintained her team of women, an amazing feat.
Igolo Njaba powerful grassroots women adopted the Sole Administrator, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, as their patron and assured him of total support to his administration and to the governor, His Excellency, Sen Hope Uzodimma.
Njaba is ready for a political hurricane to ensure that Sen. Hope Uzodimma is not only victorious but receives landslide victory at the polls.
Hon. Chief Ozioma Beneth Ebonine, Ezengwori Njaba, the Member Representing Njaba Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly and the successor to Igolo Njaba commended the women for their Powerful role. He acknowledged the support he received from them towards his election and assured them of continued support.
Congratulations Igolo Njaba, honour well deserved, a testimony of your people oriented representation and seamless succession.
