GREAT CELEBRATION OF ABANA AT 40, THE GATHERING OF GREATS
It was an amazing night of eulogy coming from friends, associates and circle of acquaintance, poured out for a man of inestimable positive contribution to the upliftment of humanity and champion of transformational course for development of humanity, Abana Njaba.
Gathered at the bouquet hall of Rento Hotel, new Owerri, men and women of distinction gathered to celebrate Abana Njaba at 40.
Rt. Hon. Amb. Dr Uju Onwudiwe, PhD, Igolo Njaba and immediate past Member who represented Njaba Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, in company of her husband, Chief Innocent Onwudiwe, Iheomadinihu of Okwudor, graced the occasion in style.
Etiokwe Njaba, the immediate past sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, arrived the venue in company of many dignitaries such as Chief Ukaonu, Nwakaibeya na Isu, Hon. Lady Mbadiwe, Nwanyi police, Dr Austin Agbahiwe, Hon. Ozone, and many others.
Ezengwori Njaba, the current representative of Njaba at the hallowed chambers, was there flanked by Hon. Dr Henry Agbasonu, the House member representing Ezinihitte Mbaise.
Members of D Like Minds of Njaba presented portrait to their own, wishing Abana Njaba happy 40th birthday. Those who joined the presentation includes Chief Vincent Egbuchilem, Ochendo, Hon. Chimuanya Amakuodike, Hon. Mrs Uju Nwaugo, a member and DG Kpakpando Angels, Hon. Obikaeze Anaemem, APC ward Chairman Okwudor, and LGA monitor, Rt. Comrd. Chigozie Unachukwu, Comrd. Jeff Unamma, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, Leadership Sustainability Coach, and many more.
Great men like Barr. Jude Oduoma, Akaraugo Chambers and Deputy Director Kpakpando Organization, Chief Barr. Ezeokafor, Ugommuta na Aboh, Deacon Hillary KD-KD, and other members of Kpakpando Organization and friends from far and near graced the occasion.
Abana’s siblings led by his elder brother, Buggi na Mexico and Chuks na Jakata and the sister were present.
At the event, the celebrant danced into the venue flanked by his amiable wife while receiving cheers from the crowd of friends and associates.
Abana Njaba has stepped into the peak productive age of life where his experience and courage can make a difference, not just for himself but for the society.
Presenting a brief citation on Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, Abana Njaba, Amb. Akalugo eulogized him for being an ambassador of charity, a champion of development, a selfless and purposeful transformation agent, a man of deep commitment to friendship and fighter for fairness and dignity of humanity. Through his business enterprises, Chigozie Abana Investment Limited, he provides services in Real Estate Development, Importation of goods and foreign exchange.
In order to provide succour to the needy, he established GozieAbana Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that caters for women, widows, youth empowerment and omnibus support to the needy in the society.
Notably, Abana Njaba committed his two years salary as the GLO of Amucha ward one to installation of new borehole and overhead tank, electrical connection of same and provision of new generator to power the borehole and he commissioned it and donated it to the community. He also reactivated an abandoned borehole and handed it over to the community for portable water. His retinue of beneficiaries in various intervention areas are many and they all wish him good health, more successes and greater accolades in life, particularly as he steps into the 40th corridor.
