NEW SET OF 247 SPECIAL ADVISERS TO GOV. HOPE UZODIMMA INAUGURATED

A new set of Special Advisers to the governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Gov Hope Uzodimma, were inaugurated at Sam Mbakwe Exco Chambers, owerri on Monday, 17th July, 2023.
The Inauguration was conducted by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Imo State, Barr. C.O.C. Akaorisa.
The Governor, represented by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, charged the newly inaugurated special advisers to be good ambassadors of 3R shared prosperity Government in their respective localities.
He said that the governor has shown magnanimity in selecting legions who will come on board with strength and vigour and with conviction and focus to the goals of the 3R agenda.
He reminded the new special advisers that their performances henceforth will be assessed to determine their productivity level as ambassadors and creators of innovation ideas that will help the Government serve the people better. The Deputy Governor added that the governor is constructively engaging in programs and initiatives that speed up development of the state and will require them to queue into the vision and ensure that the 3R government exceeds performance expectations. He further stated that regardless of the enormous deliverables in governance and provision of verifiable quality infrastructure, the government still feels that more need to be done to place imo State on the right pedestrian of growth and development.
The former speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim, who is presently a special Adviser to the governor congratulated the newly inaugurated Special Advisers and urged them to do their best in actualising the vision of 3R Government, particularly through local impact and outreach.
Among the newly inaugurated Special Advisers are: Dr Norbert Ajiero, SA Health, Dr Theo Ezeala, SA Special Duties, Hon. Emeka Iheanacho, SA Door to Door, Former Chairmen and Councillors, and Barr. Doris Akubuo, who hail from Njaba Local Government Area.
