TRAGEDY IN OSUN STATE AS CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN OF LGA DIE
Death has been announced for the chairman and vice chairman of Akure North Local Government Area.
Report has it that the chairman died first and within 72 hours, the vice chairman died after a brief illness.
The chairman, Mr Bankole Ogbesetore died of an undisclosed illness after some time of battling for his life but the vice chairman, Mr Anthony Adebusole died after a brief illness.
Confirming the death of the vice Chairman, the Commissioner for Youth and sports development, Saka Yusulf Ogunleye, confirmed the death of the vice chairman, but expressed shock for his death shortly after the death of the chairman.
He described the loss of the chairman and vice chairman as both unfortunate and shocking, that the elected chairman and his vice died within few hours of the first occuring and urged the people to take solace.
