COMRADE CHIGOZIE UNACHUKWU DEDICATES DAUGHTER, CHIZARAM, PRAYS FOR THE REPOSE OF SOUL OF HIS WIFE
It was a moment of mixed feelings today as little baby girl, Chizaram Precious Chigozie Unachukwu was dedicated to God.
Recall that Chizaram, the daughter of Comrd. Chigozie Unachukwu, the Personal Assistant to Igolo Njaba, Rt. Hon. Amb. Dr. Uju Onwudiwe, was born but her mother was lost after childbirth. Chigozie was therefore torn between the pain of not witnessing the day together with his wife and the joy of celebrating child dedication with the pride of fatherhood.
Comrd. Chigozie Unachukwu thanked all who thronged out to identify with him and the family. Specially he thanked Lady Josephine and her husband, Mr Eugene Godwin, who served as foster parents when the crises of death of Mrs Chioma occured. Also he thanked his sister, Mrs Ifeoma Amara, and the family who are also assisting in taking care of little Chizaram and thanked all including Rt. Hon. Amb. Dr Uju Onwudiwe, Igolo Njaba, and her husband, Chief Innocent Onwudiwe, Iheomadinihu, for their presence and support.
He acknowledged the presence of Engr. Nnamdi Osuji, the elder brother to late Mrs Chioma Chigozie Unachukwu.
Specially, people like Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, Abana, Dr UD Ukewuihe, Mmili oma, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, Amb. Jeff Onyekwere, Hon. Daniel Duru, Dr Dorothy Nnaji, Chairman of NAWOJ and her members, Chibuzor Joshua, Mr Ugonna Nwangwu, Ugofada, Comrd. Ike Uche, Network Njaba, and others joined Comrd. Chigozie Unachukwu and the family at the Thanksgiving.
The presiding minister, Apostle V. U. Ogbonnaya, the head of Owerri province of The Apostolic Church, admonished all to look beyond the pain of early death of Mrs Chioma Chigozie, citing the scriptures where Rachael died after child birth and therefore said that the Bible makes it clear that anyone can die, not as a result of sin committed but God’s design. He received the baby and blessed the congregation while receiving Thanksgiving offering.
