History was made in Nkwere, the ancient headquarters of Nkwere, Nwangele, Isu and Njaba Federal Constituency as the headquarters played host to critical political stakeholders of Orlu zone for a world press conference.

Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba and Hon. Pastor Chris Mbarie, Sole Administrators of Njaba Local Government Area and Orlu Local Government Area respectively, were among the critical stakeholders representing there respective jurisdictions.

Etiokwe Njaba in a statement said that Gov. Uzodimma is a great leader, a performing Governor of the state and a national leader integrating Imo into national political spectrum.

Pst. Mbarie, who doubles as the sole Administrator of Orlu LGA and the Director General of Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, stated that Imo State is blessed to have a leader like His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma, and that a winning team needs not be changed.

They joined other critical stakeholders to solicit for return of Sen. Hope Uzodimma as the sole candidate for Imo State gubernatorial elections in November, 2023.

The endorsement came as OPOCA, traditional rulers, town union leaders and all structures in Orlu zone affirmed the Imo State Charter of Equity already endorsed by Okigwe and Owerri zones.

The endorsement is premised on the catalogue of remarkable achievements Uzodimma has accomplished in his first tenure in office and therefore stated that more work is the reward for good works and therefore insisted that Gov. Hope Uzodimma deserves a second tenure.
