The Sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba paid an unscheduled working visit to the Federal Science and Technical College, Umuaka
The visit marks the first official visit of Njaba Local Government to the school since it’s establishment in 2020. The school is one of the six science and Technical schools established by the Federal government across the country.
On arrival at the school, the sole Administrator, flanked by some critical leaders of Njaba Local Government Area, such as Chief Eric Igbojekwe, Ochinigwe Njaba, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, The Leadership Sustainability Coach, and Presidents General of the whole Aka Ebeiri ancient kingdom, were received by the management of the school led by the Vice Principal Administration, Mr Ibezim C.B. He was flanked by Mrs Nwaka C.U., Vice Principal Student Affairs, Mr Chris Tyever, Vice Principal Academics, and Mr Eze .S., Vice Principal Special Duties. The principal, Mr. J. J. Naye was on essential duty and therefore excused.
Addressing the leadership of Njaba led by the sole Administrator, Mr Ibezim, speaking onbehalf of the principal expressed their deep sense of joy to the sole Administrator, describing him as an unassuming humble man who found time out of his tight schedule to identify with them. He added that the visit became more pleasant because the management of the school was making plans on how to make a courtesy call on the sole Administrator. They mentioned that due to population explosion, the school that has barely been established for three years has a population of 670 pupils and will expect another inflow of new students I’m the coming academic year. They urged the local government to come to their aid In terms of facilities development, security, other essential cooperations that will help the school stand properly beyond initial establishment challenges. They promised to do reciprocal visit within which as an institution, they will be able to present formal position document as appropriate.
The sole Administrator, in his remark commended the school.management for the good works they do to train Njaba and Nigerian children who will grow up to become leaders of tomorrow. He assured of the support and cooperation of the local government and urged them to approach the office whenever it’s necessary.
Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi thanked Gov. Hope Uzodimma for his uncommon effort to locate the school in Njaba. He assured that Njaba values the institution domiciled in Njaba and will do everything to support it’s continued operation. He urged all to continue to pray for the governor for more health and success in his endeavors.
The leadership of the school informed the sole Administrator that the school will be conducting general parents teachers Association meeting, the first of its kind since the commencement of the establishment. Elections of the PTA leadership will hold at the meeting..
