IMO HOPE NJABA ENDORSE UZODIMMA, COMMEND SOLAD ETIOKWE, CONGRATULATE OZIOMA, STATE READINESS FOR THE RE-ELECTION OF UZODIMMA COME NOVEMBER 2023
Following the directive of the DG IMO Hope, Hon. Pst. Chris Mbarie, Njaba Chapter of Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, held a crucial general meeting on Friday, 30th June 2023.
The meeting held at Nnenasaa council Headquarters, moderated by the Local Government coordinator, Hon. Chief Ikemefule Nwosu, Okanumee Umuaka.
Addressing the members of Imo Hope Njaba chapter, the coordinator reiterated the need for regular meetings in order to prepare the group for the task of reelection of the performing Governor, His Excellency Gov Hope Uzodimma in November.
IMO Hope Njaba chapter passed a resolution to endorse the governor for second tenure. This was premised on his performance record which was reiterated to have shown outstanding performance. Mention was made off the construction of the Orlu Owerri road with drainage and solar light, Owerri Okigwe road, the ongoing Owerri Mbaise, Umuahia road, the double promotion and conversion of civil servants, effect governance mechanism that has restored the state on the path of good governance, dredging of Orashi, Ogbuide, Degema to Atlantic ocean, for sea route development, etc. These are significant strides that sets the government of Sen Hope Uzodimma on a higher pedestrian than the predecessors and present compelling reasons for his re-election as the state stands to benefit more.
Imo Hope coordinator, Chief Okanumee, commended the Sole Administrator of Njaba, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, for his cordial support and his leadership mien he has been demonstrating since taking of the reigns of Njaba. He specifically mentioned the control of insecurity and restoration of peace and restoration of economic life in Njaba following his uncommon courage and touches of people oriented governance. Other areas of interest include his reconstruction of dilapidated and vandalized facilities at Njaba Headquarters, sinking of borehokdes and reticulation of water in the council headquarters, grading of roads for easy access, management of stakeholders such as President Generals, Traditional Rulers, the physically challenged, etc. He urged him to continue delivering his good works which affirms the good works of the governor at the grassroots.
The group congratulated the Lawmaker representing Njaba Constituency, Chief Ozioma Worship Ebonine, Ezengwori Njaba, on his Inauguration and reception Thanksgiving and urged him to go on to post quality representation of the people of Njaba Constituency.
Notable people in attendance includes Hon. Obikaeze Anaemem, the State Youth Leader of Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, and APC Okwudor Ward Chairman,
all ward coordinators, woman Leader, Ms Chika Okoro, representative of SOLAD NJABA and other important stakeholders of Imo Hope Njaba.
SOLAD Njaba, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi allocated an office to Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, advised them to be using it for their regular office, for holding meetings and for necessary office matters.
IMO Hope for Good Governance is the single largest structure propelling grassroots mobilization for Gov. Hope Uzodimma and the vision of 3R shared prosperity governance.
