Ejikeme Mmesoma debunks JAMB claim …. as Ezekwesili demands for forensic investigation

Ejikeme Mmesoma

Recall that there has been controversy surrounding the joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ( JAMB) result of Ejikeme Mmesoma, a student of Anglican Girls Secondary School, Nnewi, Anambra State.

Mmesoma Ejikeme who spoke on Monday, said she printed her result from JAMB portal, as she maintained that she was not capable of falsification of result.

She said she had always been a brilliant pupil, who had secured first position from primary school days.

Mmesoma said she was invited to the Department of State Services (DSS) where her statement was taken, and she was told that investigation was ongoing just for JAMB to issue a statement that she falsified her result without waiting for the outcome of the investigation by DSS.

She said ” that the QR code on the result was scanned and it showed another name with 138 score when it was rescanned it showed the same name but with 368 score”. Mmesoma is traumatised by the incident, adding that, “there must be a problem somewhere.”

Obiageli Ezekwesili former minister of Education

In another development, Nigeria’s former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has demanded an independent forensic investigation over the trending saga between Mmesoma Ejikeme and the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB.

Ezekwesili, in a post via her Twitter, disclosed that she had reached out to the Registrar of JAMB to carry out an independent investigation.

She wrote, “This saga between Mmesoma Ejikeme and @JAMBHQ requires an Independent Tech investigation to unearth all facts. Listening to her in this video, it is reasonable to request a forensic investigation to help reveal what really happened. I have reached out to the Registrar of JAMB.”
