MINISTERIAL LIST: I NEITHER REVOLTED NOR LED ANY GROUP TO ANAMBRA STATE…. says Ohakim
The former governor of Imo state , Chief Ikedi Ohakim, has denied ever leading revolt against Governor Hope Uzodimma over ministerial appointment.
It was gathered that Ohakim revolted against Governor Hope Uzodimma over the refusal to support his efforts for ministerial appointment under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration .
Ohakim who said that Hope is his very close friend, ” that revolting against Uzodimma would be doing the same against himself.”
He described the information as fabrication of the underwriter because he had never thought of going against Uzodimma.
In Ohakim’s words ” Revolting against Governor Uzodimma would be tantamount to revolt against myself and nobody can revolt against himself, or am I that foolhardy to revolt against a fellow whose performance as a governor has been quite overwhelming and who is getting accolades daily from good people of Imo State?”.
He maintained that he is not lobbying for a ministerial appointment in this administration nor did I lead any group to Anambra State .
Chief Ikedi Ohakim is a former governor of Imo State.
