CHRIS MBARIE, DG IMO HOPE WINS NATIONAL AWARD AMONG MULTIPLE AWARDS FOR STERLING PERFORMANCE
The Director General and founder of Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, Hon. Past. Chris Mbarie, who doubles as the Sole Administrator of Orlu Local Government Area has received multiple awards from various cadres, groups and institutions. Top of the range is the national merit award as the most outstanding local government award on security he received.
Instructively, Pst. Chris Mbarie emerged after due assessment of performance of all Local Government Chairmen across the 774 Local Government Area’s in the country.
The award was conferred on Hon. Chris Mbarie at National Merit House, Maitama Abuja, signifying how critical and awesomely important the rating is.
The award organised by Rootswatch magazine, a grassroots focused magazine uses the platform to spur grassroots impact across the country.
As good fish has no hiding place, while Hon. Pst. Chris Mbarie was in far away Abuja for the award, St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Chaplaincy, Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, and an Anglican Church in Owerri and a First Baptist Methodist Church, Obinze, where they gave him award as Christ Ambassador, all lined up awards for the performing sole Administrator and uncommon leader of Imo Hope for Good Governance.
As a sole Administrator who took charge of a volatile local government, Hon. Pst. Chris .O. Mbarie designed effective strategy to engage stakeholders and create grassroots influence with significant developmental impacts, which won the confidence of the people and inspired confidence that helped to mitigate the cruel impact of insecurity. The approach worked effectively and therefore insecurity became downgraded. Regardless of how the terrain of Orlu Local Government is and the neighboring council areas besieged with intense security incidences, the impactful approach of Hon. Chris Mbarie manifested significantly as Orlu sustained economic life and social life, pointing at the stability of the local government courtesy of the ingenious leadership of Hon. Chris Mbarie as the Sole Administrator.
It is therefore a reflection of his tact and skills he has brought to bear on the great strides of Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, an Apex support group for Gov. Hope Uzodimma’s political engagement in the state.
Pst. Chris Mbarie is the rave of the moment blazing the trail in grassroots mobilization, political stabilization, effective resource utilization and man management which has led the Orlu Local Government and IHFGG to rise to Sterling reckoning.
