IMO HOPE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE HOLDS EXPANDED EXCO MEETING, CELEBRATES NATIONAL MERIT AWARD CONFERRED ON THE DG, HON. PST. CHRIS MBARIE
In a bid to reposition Imo Hope for Good Governance for greater political gains and greater support to the governor, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, the Director General, Imo Hope for Good Governance, Pst. Chris .O. Mbarie, summoned an expanded executive committee meeting of state exco, LGA exco, ward exco and other critical stakeholders of the structure.
Addressing the House, at Imo Youth Centre, Owerri, the DG stated that Imo Hope is the leading structure in the state with the mandate to champion the grassroots mobilization and selling of the vision of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.
He urged the leaders to stand up and take charge in all the wards so that specific peculiarities befalling each of the wards will be identified and critically attended to, to ensure that the political awareness and impact of the good deeds and vision f the governor is felt at the grassroots.
He directed immediate revalidation of Imo Hope membership to ensure that activities towards the re-election of the performing Governor is anchored by core believers in the Imo Hope vision. The grassroots structure goes to instituting booth coordinators across all the polling units. Other strategies of restructuring were enunciated for effective mobilization and takeover of the grassroots by Imo Hope for Good Governance.
DG Chris Mbarie pronounced new appointments to strengthen Imo Hope at state, Local Government and ward levels with some people being promoted to higher positions. Details of the new appointments will be unveiled soon.
The Director General presented the four awards he received to the expanded executives and dedicated the awards to Imo Hope Group as a reflection of proof of joint resilience and consistent delivery of Imo Hope.
DG Mbarie assured that he will leave no stone unturned in the bid to raise the performance of Imo Hope and promote the good vision and good works of the performing Governor and for his re-election bid.
