SPEAKER REQUESTS FOR SYNERGY WITH THE MANAGEMENT STAFF OF HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY TO ENABLE HIM SERVE EFFECTIVELY
The Speaker of Imo Sate House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe has called for synergy between the Legistors and the management staff, which would trickle down to the entire staff of the House of Assembly and enable effective service delivery.
The Clerk Barr Mrs Chinelo Emeaghara led the management staff to visit the speaker at his office in the House of Assembly complex.
The Speaker who expressed happiness for the support and acceptance accorded him by the Management Staff on assumption of office, assured them that ” We would work as a family, when it’s time for us to leave office, you people would wish that Chike Olemgbe never leaves “.
Rt.Hon. Olemgbe quickly pointed out that their sole responsibility is to carry out their legislative duties, which is the enactment of laws that will be of benefit to Imolites and ensure there is a harmonious working relationship with Judiciary and Executive.
The member Representing Ideato South, Hon. Vitalis U. Azodo implored the management staff to give 10th House the opportunity and support that was accorded to the previous house so that the 10th House would perform better .
Also , Hon. Dr. Henry Agbasonu of Ezinihitte Mbaise Constituency encouraged the management staff to continue with their hard work and dedication.
Earlier, the Clerk , Barr. Mrs Chinelo Emeaghara who led the management Staff to the speaker’s office, congratulated him for the successful inauguration of 10th House as she told the Speaker ” Mr Speaker I present to you the livewire of the Assembly, the management Staff who have dedicated themselves to the service of House”.
The clerk pointed out that the management is ready to work with the speaker to ensure that his legislative responsibilities are met with ease.
In her words, ” the management staff turned out early to meet with you Mr . Speaker, which shows acceptance and dedication to work. ” she went ahead to pledge total loyalty of the management to the administration of Rt. Hon. Olemgbe.
Moreso, the Director of Accounts, Mr. Humphrey Igiri , who, on behalf of the Management Staff, thanked the Speaker for the interface as he prayed that God shall sustain, keep, and give him the strength to carry out his legislative duties.
