TRAGEDY AS APC MEMBERS FROM IMO STATE DIE ENROUTE ABUJA
APC members from Imo State enroute Abuja for the inauguration of the 10th session of the National Assembly were involved in fatal accident where 3 lives were lost and many sustained various degrees on injuries.
The victims were traveling in a bus and were said to be delegates from Imo North Senatorial district, (Okigwe zone), a combination of delegates for Senator Elect Patrick Ndubueze and reelected Federal House Member, Princess Miriam Onuoha.
Report has it that “Three persons in a bus traveling to abuja for the 10th National Assembly Inauguration have been confirmed dead while others sustained various degrees of injuries and were rushed to the nearby hospital”, the reporter remarked.
A chieftain of APC who refused to disclose his identity, pointed out that the victims were coordinators of the Senator-elect for Imo North, Chief Patrick Ndubueze and House of Representatives member-Elect for Okigwe North Federal Constituency, Princess Miriam Onuoha.
He said ” that three persons died while those who sustained injuries have been rushed to the hospital. He maintained that the victims includes two males from Amaraku community and a lady from Ogbor community all in Isiala Mbano LGA”.
Speaking to Cajetan Duke , the spokes person of the party said, “it’s a sad development, the party is saddened by the development and we pray God accepts their soul.
The apc supporters were traveling in two busses, had a head on collusion with another bus at Agbor in Delta State.
This is an unfortunate development as anticipated joy has turned to mourning for Imo State.
Those members and their Aids should go through airline instead of land , it’s always like this every year, May their soul rest in peace Amen
