IZUNASO SPONSORS MODERN DAY PROCESSING OF CASSAVA FOR BENEFICIARIES FROM ORLU ZONE
Sen. Osita Bonaventure Izunaso, who represents the largest Senatorial District in the country, Imo West Senatorial District, otherwise called Orlu zone, has come again with another bang.
He works the talk now to help people of Orlu zone acquire skills that will help them to create wealth and reap from the abundant food value chain.
Nigeria is the largest producer of cassava in the world and still holds the potentials of exponential increase on the volume of production yearly and yet the processing has not yet received requisite attention for people to tap from the huge economic potentials it posits.
Collaborating with the Federal ministry of Agriculture and supervised by Federal cooperative college Orji River, Sen. Izunaso sponsors 5 day training for women and youths of Orlu zone.

This skillup program holds the potentials of catalysing huge economic reward for people of Orlu zone who will, in addition to leveraging huge local market for supplies can also explore export potentials for foreign exchange.
Significantly entrepreneurship categorises venturing into food value chain as a panacea to dwindling economic fortunes of a people because it is central to survival and health of the populace.
Sen. Osita Izunaso therefore directs selection of participants from Orlu zone for the training workshop that will hold at Lobic Hotel, Owerri, 6th to 9th June, 2024.
Sen. Izunaso is altruistic about real empowerment of the people and the lasting legacy he wishes to leave behind is to have a people whose economic fortune is tremendously uplifted.
Also on Friday 7th June, there will be flag-off of Sen. Osita Izunaso tertiary education scholarship scheme for Orlu Senatorial zone students studying in institutions within Nigeria.

Izunaso is indeed a Titan of positive impact, the best gift of Orlu and Ndi Imo to Nigeria, where he has gone to win the award of best performing senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
