SEN. OSITA IZUNASO CONGRATULATES HIS EXCELLENCY, SEN. HOPE UZODIMMA ON HIS VICTORY AT THE IMO STATE ELECTIONS TRIBUNAL

The People’s Senator and representative for Imo West Senatorial District, Sen. Barr. Osita Bonaventure Izunaso sends his heartfelt congratulations to the people’s Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, onwa oyoko, on his well-deserved victory at the elections tribunal.

According to Sen. Osita Izunaso, the challenging of the victory of the governor at the November 11 polls was more of an academic exercise since the victory was a clear reflection of the affirmation of the governor’s performance, which is outstanding. The tribunal struck out the petitions by Chief Athan Achonu and Chief Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy), which challenged the victory of Sen. Hope Uzodimma.

Sen. Izunaso stated that the pronouncement of the tribunal agrees with the expectations of Imo people because Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma deserved victory and received overwhelming mandate across the 27 LGAs of Imo State, to continue with his good works.

Izunaso assures Imolites that the governor is more than focused to deliver on his promises and that as legislators representing the people at the national Assembly, they will continue to give relevant support for the good of Ndi Imo.

He wishes that matters such as the challenging tribunal cases that sought to distract the governor from concentrating on delivering democratic dividends to Ndi Imo will be put to an end to enable him focus and deliver good governance to the people.

The distinguished Senator urged all the opponents to sheath there swords and unite to move Imo State forward for the good of all.

Sen. Izunaso is the chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market, member Senate Committee on public Finance, and member Senate Adhoc committee on downstream petroleum and rehabilitation of refineries. He is also a member of ECOWAS Parliament, Representing Nigeria.
