IZUNASO PAYS LAST RESPECT TO ISHIMMIRI AMUCHA, DESCRIBES HIM AS A SUCCESSFUL MAN WITH UNCOMMON VIRTUE OF HUMILITY
A friend and associate who shows commitment and constancy in resilience stands by you in all times including in death, when you are not there to evaluate what he does or not do.
Sen. Osita Izunaso has shown tenacity and dutifulness in condoling with the family of Late Chief Christopher Chukwuemeka Ohuruzo, Ishimmiri Amucha all through the program to bid him farewell.
Addressing the mammoth crowd of sympathizers at the service of songs and night of tribute, Sen. Izunaso described the gentle giant as a man of means who comported himself with utmost sense of humility and dutifulness towards his people.
Following up the special time the Distinguished Senator spent at the night of tribute, he arrived the home of Ishimmiri for the final respect early enough and joined in the Requiem mass celebrated to bid Ishimmiri farewell. The burial of late Chief Christopher Chukwuemeka Ohuruzo, Ishimmiri Amucha, held on Friday, 12th April, 2024.
Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso was in attendance in company of many dignitaries such as the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Chinyere Ekomaru, who represented the governor, Secretary to the Government of imo state, Chief Cosmas Iwu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, Deputy Speaker Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, Hon. Barr. Harrison Nwadike, Hon. Ozioma Worship Benneth Ebonine, Ezengwori Njaba, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe, and many dignitaries who came from far and wide.
Many traditional rulers such as His Royal Majesty, Eze Thomas Obiefule, Okairere, chairman Ndi Eze Orlu zone, Eze Anthony Onyeka, Obi IV of Nkume, Head of traditional institutions Njaba LGA, and many more.
Specially, Igolo Njaba, Rt. Hon. Amb. Dr. Uju Onwudiwe, PhD, Mrs Uju Nwaugo, Dr UD Ukewuihe, UD Jesus, Hon. Obikaeze Anaemem, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, Leadership Sustainability Coach, and other leaders of Njaba and across the state were present to pay last respect to Ishimmiri.
The mass was celebrated by the Bishop of Orlu Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. T. A. Ukwuoma, and a host of priests.
Izunaso prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of Ishimmiri and urged the family to take solace in the hope of resurrection and to be further comforted by the good life he lived.
Izunaso is a compassionate man of indescribable capacity, showing tenacity in matters that concern his people and sharing in their joys and pains.
