The loud voice and erudite contributions of the member for Isiala Mbano State Constituency and Chairman House of Assembly Committe on Transportation, Hon Sam Osuji (Okwubanego) seem not to have gone unnoticed as a high powered delegation of Ugiri Political Clan of Isiala Mbano paid him a solidarity visit in his office on Thursday 14th March,2024.
The delegation which was led by a seasoned entrepreneur and philanthropist Chief Dr Ben Uwakwem,said after a thorough assessment of the achievements of Hon Sam Osuji,they thought it necessary to show their solidarity by visit.The group said they were not only satisfied by the performance of Hon Sam Osuji but was certain that Ugiri Clan and Isiala Mbano would be among the committee of beneficiaries of the laudable gestures of the Senator Hope Uzodinma administration.The group further thanked Hon Sam Osuji for his motion on the floor of the House of Assembly on the ravaging effect of erosion menace in Ugiri Political Clan despite been from Mbama,noting that it was indeed the climax of being a brothers keeper.
The leader of the delegation of who also made a petition to Hon Sam Osuji, that the remedial efforts made by Ugiri people to check erosion sites in the area with trees have been vandalized by some unidentified persons stating that Hon Sam Osuji should come to the help of Ugiri people to forestall a total break down of the link road that passes through most parts of Ugiri and bring to book the persons behind the act.

In his response the member for Isiala Mbano State Constituency thanked the delegation for the visit, stating that he was impressed with the level of support he has received from the Ugiri Political Clan of Isiala Mbano.Hon Sam Osuji said Ugiri Clan was a vital part of Ugiri politics and urged them to support the administration of Senator Hope Uzodinma to bring more dividends of democracy.Hon Sam Osuji took his audience back memory lane on his long harmonious relationship with Ugiri Political Clan dating back to his journey as Sole Administrator of Isiala Mbano and the taking up of some infastructural projects in Ugiri.Okwubanego as he is fondly called by his political associates said he has been instrumental to the making of many political leaders in Isiala Mbano from Ugiri which includes a former Local Government Chairman,and All Progressive Congress Chairman in Isiala Mbano and promised to do many more things for Ugiri Political Clan, considering their support for him during the campaigns and elections.
Highlights of the visit were the entrance of the member for Oru East State Constituency and Chief Whip of the Imo State House of Assembly Hon Chigozie Nwaneri who said he was a friend and associate of Hon Sam Osuji and considered it necessary to show support and identify with the Ugiri people.Hon Chigozie Nwaneri also told the delegation that they had a worthy ambassador in Hon Sam Osuji stating that he had prospects for greater things.The Ugiri Political Clan also presented gifts of kolanuts and drink to Hon Sam Osuji acknowledging their support for him and promised to support all his good aspirations.
