U.J FOR HUMANITY INITIATIVE CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2024 WITH WOMEN IN NJABA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
The ancient city of Amucha clan of Njaba Local Government Area hosted a special event to commemorate the International Women’s Day 2024, courtesy of U.J for Humanity Initiative, powered by Mrs Nwaugo Linda Uju

U.J for Humanity Initiative, in collaboration with Gozie Abana Foundation and Embracing Humanity Initiative organised an enthralling session where women experienced uncommon learning session and social atmosphere.
Speakers were drawn from the various partnering initiatives such as Uchechi Uchenna of Embracing Humanity Initiative, Dr (Mrs) Nnedimma Nancy Nnodim, of Sheplus Initiative, and Rt. Hon. Dr Mrs Uju Onwudiwe Igolo Njaba, among others.

The program was a learning and interactive session where women were exposed to fundamentals of good living and attitudinal Dynamics to navigate the traumatic inhibitions to evolvement of full potentials.
Mrs Uju Nwaugo, the host and president of U.J for Humanity Initiative, during her welcome remark, urged the women to seize the opportunity provided to enrich their knowledge for a better living. She stated that U.J for Humanity Initiative is born out of genuine concern for measurable transformation of women and female gender in the society, adding that women spice up living and should therefore live to their fullness of potentials. She emphasized that what the initiative stands for is not women emancipation that claims equality with men but an initiative to engender a better version of what a woman is created to be in all ramifications including socioeconomic and sociopolitical leanings.



The guest speakers took turns to interact with the women and it turned out to be an amazing experience for women drawn from Amucha and Umuamucha Autonomous Communities and the environs.
Rt hon. Dr Uju Onwudiwe was among other dignitaries who graced the occasion.

Speaking, Dr Uju Onwudiwe, PhD, Igolo Njaba thanked the women for responding to the short invitation and insisted that improved knowledge is the tonic that Spurs transformation in all aspects of human endeavour. She urged the women to be intentional and purposeful in their undertakings, committed to their family values, engaging in Economic ventures that will add value and take their pride of place in shaping a positive future for the society.




Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, CEO Abana Foundation, through his representative felicitated and encouraged the women to be their best as they marked International Women’s Day in style.
Mrs Uju Nwaugo is an educationist, a linguist, a business Titan and political actor. She is committed to positive transformation of the society and humanity. She is the Director General of Kpakpando Angels, a structure under Kpakpando Organization to promote the affairs of the female gender and gender balancing in the sociopolitical space of Imo West Senatorial District.
