IZUNASO SHOWS CAPACITY IN LEGISLATIVE ROLES – CALLS FOR INVESTIGATION INTO ACTIVITIES OF CBN FOREX DEALS
Capacity is not a gift shared equally to all, it is rather a product of preparedness and ability to show courage underscored by procedural know how when the situation calls for it.
Nigeria has proved to many to be a place where irrational activities are carried out in the institutions that should preserve integrity and excellence, but behold, what is rather celebrated is mediocrity. Who can query the system other than he who genuinely understands the workings of the system and knows the interoperability of various related concepts and how they contribute to the system operability.
That is why, as a ranking senator and ranking political gladiator, he understands that the current government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is serious about unveiling the rot in the various institutions in order to reposition them and present a working nation with new life.
Presenting a motion on the floor of the Senate to call for investigation of forex management and mismanagement of same, Sen. Osita Izunaso opened the hornets hive to show the devastating misdemeanor and height of greed that has held this nation captive.
Demonstrating that his capacity as a ranking senator, being a first class lawyer, being a seasoned media practitioner of repute, being the chairman of capital Market and a.member of Public Accounts Committee, he understands the totality of his role, capacity, and responsibilities, and what needs to be done to meet up with the expectations of Nigerians who hold him to high esteem in legislative expectations.
Ndi Orlu are excited that our senator is unarguably the most vibrant senator in the 10th Senate showing uncommon capacity and resilience in his strides to place Imo West Senatorial District on the national map for good reasons.
Considering that out of over $7.5 Billion of forex, many organisations that received allocations were either fictitious or into round-tripping and the mess in the system became humongous, Izunaso shows didactic legislative verve and eloquence to speak truth to authority. This is exceptional courage.
There is no doubt that water has begun to find it’s level and the government of PBAT knows now that from Orlu to Federal Government, we have an incredibly equipped, sagacious, detailed, competent, fearless, and yet humble but brilliant Lawmaker to serve as worthy companion to propel repositioning of Nigerian governance architecture. Sen. Osita Izunaso is doing marvelously well to speak where it matters and matters are not concluded without his incisive input on the floor of the Senate.
Kudos to our man in Abuja, the icon of the 10th Senate, the INDEFATIGABLE champion of transformational legislature, and the revelling learned Lawmaker with charism, sincerity and drive to deliver purposeful service to the nation.
