PROF UBA NNABUE MARKS ONE YEAR MEMORIAL THANKSGIVING OF THE DEATH OF HIS DEAR WIFE AS ETIOKWE NJABA IDENTIFIES WITH THE NNABUE FAMILY
Christmas and new year season is known for congestion of activities. While some use the season to celebrate wedding and various forms of anniversaries, others use it to bury their dead. It is generally a season when Igbo people from all over the world come home to merry and felicitate with each other. It is remarkable season to the Igbo people, a moment for roll call of sort.

On 31st December, 2023, Prof. Uba Nnabue, the former Commissioner for Tertiary education in imo State and currently, the Federal commissioner for National Population Commission NPC, for Imo State, marked the memorial Thanksgiving, of his late wife, Noble Lady Nnabue. Prof. Uba Nnabue and the family attended Thanksgiving mass to mark the end of the mourning period for the late wife.
Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, the Sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, in his trademark way of conduct, visited the home of Prof. Nnabue to first rejoice with him for the end of the mourning season and to pray for the continuous repose of her soul in peace.

Etiokwe Njaba remarked that the death of Mrs Nnabue was a huge pain to all and for the fact that no one has the power to or can stop death, it is part of life. He commended Prof. Nnabue for pulling through the mourning period with courage and prayed for the continued repose of her soul in peace.
Prof. Uba Nnabue was the person who started Faculty of law in Imo State University, Owerri, a former Commissioner for Tertiary education in Imo State and currently a serving Federal Commissioner. He hails from Atta Autonomous Community, Atta clan, Njaba Local Government Area, Imo State.

Prof. Nnabue is a jolly good fellow who has a charming personality with warm smiles, compassionate and humble, and very brilliant.
