IZUNASO DISTRIBUTES TRAILER-LOADS OF RICE TO ALL WARDS IN ORLU SENATORIAL ZONE, WISHES ALL CONSTITUENTS MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR
Imo West Senatorial District, otherwise called Orlu zone, has continued to reap the dividends of purposeful and dynamic representation.
The distinguished Senator representing the people of Orlu zone, Sen. Osita Bonaventure Izunaso has, since his election, and even before his inauguration, began showing the people that he is in haste to change the narratives and touch his constituents positively.
He has guaranteed soft loan to provide low interest loan, less than 10% to the women of Orlu zone, to boost their business. The plan is that those who collected the loan and repaid according to the approved plan will earn integrity and access more loans to support their business. Sen. Izunaso is therefore working tirelessly to ensure thriving of business engagements and to make people self-reliant. Over 500 women accessed the loan during the first phase and second phase will soon commence.
Only recently, in the month of October, the people’s Senator sponsored the Kpakpando Foundation 18th anniversary where hundreds of millions of naira worth of equipment and gifts were provided to the People Living with Disabilities, PLWD, across the country. As a result of this singular benevolent act, and other historical report of his unhindered care to the vulnerable, the president of the United States of America, Mr Joe Biden sent Senator Osita Bonaventure Izunaso a letter of recognition from the United States of America. This is significant because he has received letters of commendation consistently from three American presidents following his care for the PLWD, the vulnerable.
In the Senate, Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso, a ranking Lawmaker who also is a first class law graduate, is demonstrating legislative dexterity, an intelligent and diligent contributor to discourse and intellectual analytics of issues bothering on the nation. His presence in the Senate is truly illuminating the upper Chambers and making Nigerians to develop some confidence in the red Chambers. He is the chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market and also a member of Senate Committee on public finance, in addition to belonging to other Committees.
In his rational thinking of care and in the spirit of the Christmas season, which he said, all over the world, is a worthy Celebration, queued into the charity and gifting to impact humanity. Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso procured and took delivery of trailer loads of quality rice and ensured that they are distributed according to Local governments and the composite units of wards. He ensured that each local government received minimum of 250, depending on their number of wards, while some received over 300 bags of rice for onward transmission to wards and to the people. This largesse is significant as it has changed the narrative of representation in Orlu zone, now making people to feel the impact of their senator.
Barr. Osita Izunaso spent hundreds of millions of naira to ensure that Orlu zone feels the joy of Christmas and he ensured that party leadership working with Kpakpando structure across of LGAs coordinate the distribution for effective delivery.
Encomiums were pouring in as many leaders and people commended the performing senator for his magnanimity.
