EZENGWORI NJABA CREATES SOCIOECONOMIC SPUR REVIVING SPORTS AND EMPOWERMENT OF CONSTITUENTS
Impossibility is nothing to a mind that is willing to change narratives given the right approach.
While many elected legislators and appointees of government are trading excuses for slow start to actualising their promises to the people, Ezengwori Njaba has proved to be different.
Barely five months after assumption of office, Ezengwori has recorded tremendous performance report.
He started by doing elaborate Thanksgiving and expressing his thanks to Njaba people. He has consistently shown responsiveness to calls from individuals and from groups, supporting their programs and projects.
Ezengwori sponsored surgical procedure needed to save a young man, from Umuaka ancient Kingdom. He assembled consultants to ensure that the procedure was done without much risk and it was successful. This is one out of many of such interventions.
The ongoing road grading and sand-filling within Umuaka clan is a testimony of the good works of Ezengwori. Recall that the government has not mobilized or mandated local governments or legislators to engage in road grading. This is part of his intervention works and the influential people of Umuaka clan are delighted by his consistency and therefore are mobilizing resources. He is unleashing the potential wealth serving as an aggregator, as focal centre, rallying point and a servant leader.
Ezengwori Njaba has floated two football tournaments going on simultaneously in Njaba. One holding among 12 autonomous communities around Nnenasaa axis and the other holding among 10 autonomous communities of Umuaka clan. He has earmarked Ten Million Naira (N10M) for the football tournaments titled ” Ezengwori Solidarity Football Tournament “.
The tournament officially kicked off at Umuaka central stadium on Sunday 10th December, and evidently the two teams that played after the official kickoff, Umuele fc vs Ugbele Fc displayed amazing soccer artistry.
Ezengwori realised that through sports, Umuaka clan in particular and Njaba in general have produced sports men and women who went on to represent Nigeria at the super Eagles and other levels. For instance, Bright Dike and Emmanuel Emenike hail from Umuaka ancient kingdom and rose to global stardom and were super Eagles players. David Adiele was also Green Eagles player, hails from Okwudor Ancient kingdom. Daryl Dike is presently playing for Westbromwich Albion in England and he is a USA international player. Courtney Dike played for Nigerian Falcons in world cup where they won silver. Obi Emegano is a basketball player who is part of the Nigerian national team, hails from Okwudor. The intention is to provide another platform for youths to express their sporting skills and pursue their dreams in sports, they could be the next generation stars.
Hon. Chief Ifeanyi Oruh, SA to the governor and state Election monitor represented the governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, at the kick off. Other dignitaries such as Hon. Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo, House member for Orlu Constituency, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, Solad Njaba, HRH Eze Caesar Duruegbusuo, Ozoano of Amazano, and other dignitaries were present at the kickoff.
In addition, other dignitaries such as Chief Amakuodike Chimuanya, Destiny, Chief Kosy Nwaebee, Chief Vincent Egbuchilem, Ochendo, Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, Abana, Hon. Mrs Uju Nwaugo, Dr UD Ukewuihe, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, Hon. Obikaeze Anarmem and other ward party Chairmen, party leaders, PGs, and lots of people graced the kickoff ceremony. People made financial support to the initiative to encourage Ezengwori in his good works.
The kickoff match recorded huge crowd of spectators.
Hon. Chief Ozioma Worship Benneth Ebonine, Ezengwori Njaba, is demonstrating that people are consciously seeking for progressive social wealth consolidators who parade integrity, transparency and friendly disposition and can be trusted with funds to support progressive ideals. He is obviously not using his meagre salary as a Lawmaker to fund these projects but collective wealth.
