EZENGWORI NJABA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT KICKS OFF
The youthful and bulky Lawmaker representing Njaba state Constituency In the Imo State House of Assembly, Owerri, Hon. Chief Ozioma Worship Benneth Ebonine, Ezengwori Njaba, has donated a football trophy to be contested among the 22 autonomous communities of Njaba Local Government Area.
During the kick off ceremony at Nnenasaa central stadium, the humane Lawmaker thanked Njaba people for giving him their mandate to represent them at the hallowed chambers and re-echoed his resolve to engage in activities that will benefit the youths and the people of Njaba and to revive sporting activities that will engender social revival and upscale sporting skills.
Ezengwori assured that the tournament will hold annually as long as he remains in office serving the people of Njaba.
Hon. Ebonine announced that he maps out N5m for the competition, urging all well-meaning People of Njaba to think home and think of how to impact lives positively. He urged good spirited people to support him in the bid to restore quality lifestyle to the people.
Leaders across Njaba thronged the inaugural ceremony of kick-off and they include: Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, the sole Administrator of Njaba LGA, Dr Barth Okorochukwu, commissioner for Health Insurance Imo State, Prof. Uba Nnabue, Federal Commissioner for National Population Commission, NPC, Chief Vincent Egbuchilem, Ochendo, Leader of De Likeminds, Dr UD Ukewuihe, Mmili Oma Njaba, Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, Gozie Abana Foundation, Chief Amakuodike Chimuanya, Destiny, Chief Kosy Nwaebee, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, Chief Eric Igbojekwe, Ochinigwe, Hon. Obikaeze Anaemem, Comrd. Chigozie Unachukwu, Hon. Ike Uche (Network Njaba) and many other dignitaries.
The kickoff match of the day held between Ihebinowerre and Umuokpo Nkume football teams.
Significantly, Ezengwori Njaba setup same competition going on among communities of Umuaka clan. This is in order to ensure that people enjoy proximity and that no section of Njaba is overtly inconvenienced.
Njaba is agog, social life restored with exciting display of soccer artistry courtesy of Ezengwori Njaba and his network of associates and friends.
Ezengwori has insisted that his mission in he hallowed Chambers is to change the narratives of representation, spur socioeconomic life and engender effective representation, activating youth potentials, and spurring empowerment of constituents.
Youth o’clock Is the motto and the youths are firmly leading with new drive.
