SEN. OSITA IZUNASO LEADS ORLU ZONE TO CONGRATULATE SEN. HOPE UZODIMMA ON HIS REELECTION
A thoroughbred leader is known for his consistent demonstration of leadership dexterity. This is altruism in the face of public governance particularly the political class.
Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso has proved roadside analysts wrong by showing clearly that an intelligent learned person can do politics of team work and show solidarity.
Rallying round other leaders of Orlu zone comprising of 12 Local Government Areas Izunaso showed leadership by inspiring other leaders and people of Orlu zone to provide unalloyed support to the son of Orlu zone, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, who contested for re-election.
The entire leaders of Orlu zone consolidated resources and forces to support the re-election of Uzodimma to enable him complete his second tenure in office. The leadership of Orlu zone comprises of the Senator representing the zone, Federal lawmakers, state lawmakers, past and present government appointees, party leaders and community leaders, captains of industries and the entire hierarchy of profiles from the zone.
Presenting the score card, Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso stated that out of over 540,000 votes cast to support the re-election of Gov. Uzodimma, over 300,000 votes making 61% of the votes cast came from Orlu zone while the rest were shared between Owerri and Okigwe zones. By this statistics, he remarked that the brothers of Uzodimma are strongly behind him and urged him to go on to deliver quality service to Imo State.
Gov. Uzodimma, in his response, thanked the people of Orlu zone for the show of massive support and acknowledged that the entire state spoke in unison to reelect him and he will not take it with kid gloves. He assured that he will not only do more but better in order to leave a glowing mark at the end of his tenure of service to Imo State, making Imo State proud.
The leaders onbehalf of each local government of Orlu zone comprising of Orlu, Ideato North and South, Orsu, Nwangele, Nkwerre, Isu, Njaba, Oru West, Oru East, Oguta, Ohaji Egbema, all took turns to present gift of live cow each to the performing Governor, urging him to do more for the people of Imo State.
Amb. Greg Mbadiwe, Eze Okeke, Eze Cletus Ilomuanya, Hon. Eugene Dibieagwu, Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu, etc. were among those who took turns to congratulate Gov Uzodimma onbehalf of Orlu Senatorial constituents, the leaders and the people.
Sen. Osita Bonaventure Izunaso has crowned his Sterling role to provide resounding support for the re-election of Gov. Uzodimma, a true ally and committed political team player. Kpakpando Orlu has not disappointed but has shown leadership, dedication and intelligence to galvanize Orlu for the next milestone of political realities.
