IZUNASO JOINS OTHER SENATORS TO A FISCAL POLICY AND TAX REFORM RETREAT HOLDING IN UYO
The chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market and member Senate Committee on Public Finance, Dist. Sen. Osita Izunaso, OFR, FNIPR, joins his colleagues of the 10th Senate on a retreat on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms organised by the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, holding in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

It is evident that the fruit of populating strategic institutions with the right Eggheads such as Sen. Osita Izunaso, is that innovative and progressive ideas will always be conceived for the institutional development. His membership of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and the engagement of the Senate for retreat on skills upscale in finance and taxation is suggestive of his propelling role for creative input.

Sen. Izunaso it will be recalled has been lightening the Senate with his blistering performance as a learned and highly cerebral Lawmaker. A product of University of Jos, where he studied English and Linguistics studies, International Institute of Journalism, IIJ, Abuja, he studied Journalism, University of Calabar, where he obtained MBA in Public Administration, Nile University Abuja where he bagged his B.L in law, graduating with first class honours and attended Nigeria Law School Abuja, graduating with second class honours upper level and Baze University Abuja, where he bagged LL.M in law, and now enrolled for Ph.D in Maritime Law, Nile University, Abuja. He is an erudite and highly cerebral Lawmaker.

Teaming up with his colleagues in Public Accounts Committee and fellow senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to embark on the retreat, is fundamental to high legislative performance in public accounts, the engine room of governance. Sen. Izunaso has continued to play pivotal role towards defining the identity of the Senate and providing quality legislation in the 10th Senate.
Imo West and the entire Imo State and the south East region and the nation are witnesses to the strides of Dist. Sen Osita Izunaso, Kpakpando Orlu and ranking senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The senators were led to the retreat by the Senate President, His Excellency, Sen. Obong Godswill Akpabio.
