KICK OFF OF GOV. HOPE UZODIMMA FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT SPONSORED BY CHIEF VITALIS UGOCHUKWU OBI, SOLAD NJABA, HELD AT NNENASAA
Sports enthusiasts gathered at Njaba council Headquarters, Nnenasaa, on Wednesday, 18/10/23, to witness the kick off of and unveiling of the trophy donated by Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, the sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area.
Etiokwe Njaba donated the trophy in honour of His Excellency Gov Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko, to be contested by the youths across all INEC electoral wards in the local government.
The exhibition match played at the Inauguration ceremony held between Okwudor ward and Umuaka ward one, a scintillating match that was filled with soccer artistry. The match ended 0-0 but was filled with excitement.
Performing the kickoff onbehalf of the Sole Administrator, the Senior Special Assistant, to the Sole Administrator, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, conveyed the love of Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi to the youths and to the entire Njaba LGA. He reiterated that it’s because peace has returned to the land that it has now become expedient to engage the youths in sporting activities of this magnitude. He praised God for restoring peace to Njaba local government Area.
He added that His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma is a man who believes in giving the best to the people and as such the trophy sponsored by Etiokwe Njaba in honour of the governor is germane.
Akalugo urged the youths to utilize the rare opportunity provided to explore their sporting passion and assured them that plans are on ground to recommend exceptional talents discovered at the competition for professional career in football.
Amb. Akalugo, the Leadership Sustainability Coach, performed the unveiling of the trophy and the kickoff of the competition to the admiration of Njaba enthusiasts and the match for the day commenced.
Etiokwe Njaba is doing amazing things in reinventing Njaba, working on the sociological architecture to defuse the fears and to restore the confidence of the people.
Njaba Local Government Area is getting better by the day courtesy of the steady and consistent good works of Etiokwe Njaba, Omere Njaba Juoyi, the sole Administrator of Njaba.
Kudos to Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko for giving Njaba LGA a capable hand in the person of Etiokwe Njaba, no doubt Njaba stands totally to support the 4 + 4 project to reelect Sen. Hope Uzodimma for another tenure of office.
