ETIOKWE NJABA SPONSORS GOVERNOR’S CUP, FOOTBALL COMPETITION AMONG 11 WARDS OF NJABA
Life goes from one phase to another and that defines the progressive trajectory of development of humanity.
Njaba Local Government Area experienced a period of flashes of insecurity in the past, which culminated to the gruesome murder of two traditional rulers and other prominent people.
But such threats to life and properties became controlled with the onboarding of Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, as the sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area.
Following the return of peace and calmness, to the troubled area, Etiokwe Njaba introduced Governor Hope Uzodimma football competition to be contested by the respective wards of Njaba Local Government Area, a total of eleven wards, made up of Amucha ward I, Amucha ward II, Nkume ward, Atta ward I, Atta ward II, Atta ward III, Okwudor ward, Umuaka ward I, II, III, & IV, a total of eleven wards.
The winner of the competition, first runner up and second runner up will receive exciting reward with the possibility of recommendation of players who perform excellently well in the competition for career in professional football.
Njaba Local Government Area is witnessing a new lease of life, with socioeconomic life fully returning to signal return of peace.
The kickoff ceremony of the Gov. Hope Uzodimma football tournament holds on Wednesday, 18th October, 2023, at Njaba council Headquarters, Nnenasaa.
