In line with the approval to provide palliative materials to Nigerians, the 3R Shared Prosperity government of Imo State, in response to framework of the Federal government of Nigeria, approved delivery of bags of rice to all the polling booths in the state.
Gov. Hope Uzodimma was emphatic about the need to deliver the approved quantity of foodstuff to the polling units in order to ensure that it reaches the grassroots.
According to Gov. Uzodimma, the palliative is meant for all Imo State people and not for political party members only. It becomes imperative that booth leaders of the shared prosperity Government should liaise with leaders of the community to distribute the materials among all registered voters in the booth regardless of party affiliation.
In Njaba Local Government council headquarters, Presidents General of communities, GLO of Communities, Campaign Coordinators and Party leaders, including woman leader of communities were directed to work in synergy to ensure that the materials were conveyed to the polling units. The number of polling units in each electoral ward were used to determine the quantity of materials released to each ward. It was seamlessly done and all the political wards received their materials without any hiccups.

Etiokwe Njaba insisted that nothing is provided to leaders but for the booths and it was religiously followed. This is in order to cater for the grassroots and to give them the touch of care and Providence from His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko, the icon of 3R shared prosperity.
Njaba Local Government Area has continued to witness transparency, equity, compassion and strong commitment to grassroots service courtesy of Etiokwe Njaba.
His strides are resonating across the length and breadth of the council area and people are consistently feeling the impact of good and reliable leadership.
