IGOLO NJABA HOLDS THANK YOU TOUR ACROSS NJABA, PREACHES THE MESSAGE OF REELECTION OF GOV. UZODIMMA
A charitable heart is known to remember where it began to receive Goodwill and to always come back to show appreciation, which they say is an application for more.
The gazelle of the 8th and 9th House of Assembly of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Amb. Dr Uju Onwudiwe, Igolo Njaba, has shown an uncommon attribute of returning to the base to say thank you to the people.
Recently, the people of ancient kingdom of Okwudor Ebenasato, comprised of Okwudor and Ihebinowerre Autonomous Communities, gathered and rolled out drums to celebrate the homecoming of their own, Amb. Dr Uju Onwudiwe, Igolo Njaba, who served a complete double tenure totalling eight years in the hallowed Chambers of Imo State legislature.
The reception turned out to be a carnival with dignitaries across far and wide gracing the event. Top among the personalities was the governor of Imo State, His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko, ably represented by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Prof. Placid Njoku. Other numerous dignitaries graced the occasion.
Igolo Njaba has also deemed it necessary to return to her grassroots engagement strategy whereby she touches lives of indigent, elderly and needy. She embarked on a tour of all the eleven wards of Njaba Local Government Area, where she visited a number of elderly people and provided various gifts including foodstuff and money to say thank you for being with her all this while.
Dr Uju Onwudiwe, while thanking the people of Njaba in their homes and at the muster point, the centre of the wards, thanked them passionately for supporting her throughout her journey of service to Njaba, reminding them that she remains committed to serving them both on official and unofficial capacities to ensure that live is made more meaningful to the people.
Rt. Hon. Uju Onwudiwe used the opportunity to remind the people of Njaba that election for governorship of imo State will come up on 11th November and that the best choice for all is to reelect Sen. Hope Uzodimma to continue his good works.
The people of Njaba across all wards eulogized the former Lawmaker whom they described as a woman who made them proud in the green Chambers. They assured that support for Uzodimma is already guaranteed not only because of his good works that are visible but because they trust the decision of their leader, Amb. Uju Onwudiwe, who is known to be thorough and considerate in her political exploits.
Recall that Igolo Njaba showed uncommon humility when she withdrew from seeking for the ticket of the ruling party for Federal House at the instance of the directive of the leader of the party in imo State, His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma. This is a clear indication of respect and commitment to team work for progress and higher accomplishments of the political family. Her tour round Njaba is already reverberating as the needy have felt a touch of love and compassion as she comes to say thank you.
