ORLU YOUTH SUMMIT, A STRATEGIC POLITICAL RENAISSANCE OF ORLU AND THE ANCHOR FOR POLITICAL STABILITY OF IMO STATE

On Saturday, September 23, 2023, all roads will lead to Orlu to witness Orlu Youth Summit. The gathering of over 80 youth groups who have already indicated their willingness to participate in the event is significant.
The theme of the summit is Rise and Shine and it obviously is a very ingenious initiatives to galvanize the youths and chat a course for rebirth of the zone and the state.
At the announcement of the summit, pessimists went on rampage to allege huge funds doled out to fund the program, and they further went on to allege that two strategic youths of the zone who recently joined the progressives were rewarded with the humongous sum and further said that they shortchanged them.
This allusion is infantile because it is a cheap blackmail, not possessing any iota of truth.
The summit is rather an initiative of youths and leaders of the zone to unlock common social wealth through voluntary contribution to actualise the initiative of Orlu Renaissance.
The program will provide for brainstorming session where resource person will spur the thought process of the youths and people of Orlu zone towards a new era of political reality.
Currently, what is set before Orlu zone now is a serious moral burden. As a result of the potentials of a further term in office of our dear governor, Sen Hope Uzodimma, other zones have gathered and designed a power shift plan called Imo Charter of Equity.
This concept, we should recall, never existed when our Distinguished Senator, the governor was running in his first tenure, it is rather an aftermath thought.
If the other zones had not armtwisted Orlu zone to embrace this charter of equity, chances are that at the end of Sen. Uzodimma’s second tenure, another prominent son of Orlu zone could jump into the ring to grab the mantle.
Yes, it is possible because what Orlu needs is to get entire Orlu zone and one zone between Owerri and Okigwe to achieve both simple majority and spread and therefore continue in Douglas House.
The summit will, in addition to providing the latitude for youths of Orlu to appraise the political trajectory and possibilities ahead, also to be oriented on the need to form bonding across other zones for healthy political growth.
It becomes a stabilizing political initiative for Orlu to understand imperatives of political Dynamics and the commonalities of cross zonal synergy.
Support for the re-election of Sen. Hope Uzodimma is both promoted by his performance record and the equity charter endorsed by all the zones. Doing one more tenure in office will cause Orlu zone to be morally bound to support a candidate of another zone after Reelecting our performing Governor.
Reelecting Sen. Hope Uzodimma will satisfy am equilibrium point of political correctness and charter of equity and the youths not only of Orlu zone need to realise this.
This is therefore timely for political stability of Imo State and Political correctness of the state, and a product of satisfactory performance in his first tenure that qualifies him for a second tenure in office.
Orlu Youth Rise and Shine, the time is now for a new political Renaissance of Orlu zone.
