ORLU YOUTH SET TO HOLD SUMMIT ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2023
The leadership and people of Orlu zone, the Senatorial District that boasts of 12 LGAs and the most populous in Imo State is set to hold National Youth Summit.
Announcing the summit in a press release, the chairman of Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, Orlu Youth Summit, 2023, Mr Collins Opuruozor, stated that the summit, with the theme “Arise and shine” is billed to hold in Orlu Local Government. The summit, as contained in the press release, is hoped to reawaken the consciousness of the young people of Orlu to play active roles in the development of the zone and make meaningful contributions to ways through which the dividends of good governance in Imo State could be sustained.
The release also stated that over 60 youth groups are to participate in the youth summit deemed to be the mother of youth summit in the state.
The youth of Orlu zone are resolved to advance political goals of the zone, support the performing Governor for re-election and press for more gains in the governance architecture of the state and beyond. The political Renaissance of the zone is a strong statement of purpose galvanizing all the goals for political rebirth and strategic engagement in the polity.
Onwa Oyoko is a pacesetter that is reawakening political consciousness of the zone through the right orientation of the youths and the consolidation of the interests of the various Stakeholders for a hitch-free reelection.
