ETIOKWE NJABA CONGRATULATES UZODIMMA FOR SUCCESSFUL INAUGURATION OF REELECTION CAMPAIGN COUNCIL BY DR ABDULAHI UMAR GANDUJE, NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APC
The Sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi has congratulated Gov. Uzodimma for what he called a historic commissioning of campaign Secretariat for Gov. Uzodimma’s re-election, by Dr Abdulahi Umar Ganduje, the National chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC.
Etiokwe Njaba described the commissioning of the Secretariat as historic adding that the governor uses every opportunity to show capacity. That Dr Ganduje came in person in company of the paraphernalia of the national party leadership is an indication of his capacity and appeal at the national level.
Oputaobie Njaba corroborated the assertion of Dr Ganduje that Sen. Uzodimma is a big fish and a man of capacity. He added that going by the rich scorecard of Uzodimma in his first tenure, in terms of road construction and the accessories such as solar road lighting, drainage and framed contract of rolling support of the roads for a minimum duration of five years, dredging of Ogbuide Orashi Degeme to the Atlantic ocean, betterment of the conditions of civil servants and approval of double promotion and approval of conversion for civil servants, free transport scheme and a host of other ingenious initiatives sets Uzodimma apart as a hero of Imo State governance.
Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi averred that with the incontrovertible evidence of performance of Uzodimma in his first tenure, he should rather face affirmation, not an election, because he has performed more than expected.
Oputaobie acknowledged the giant strides of Uzodimma in the area of security and restoration of calmness in troubled areas of the state and gave him thumbs up for his aggregate performance, which he said is outstanding.
Umar Ganduje arrived Imo State on Friday, 15th September, to inaugurate campaign Council, commission campaign Secretariat and formally declare campaign for the re-election of Gov. Uzodimma, open. The governor of Cross Rivers State, His Excellency, Gov Bassey Otu was appointed the Chairman of the Campaign Council for the re-election of Gov. Uzodimma.
Etiokwe charged all to give unalloyed support to Sen. Hope Uzodimma to be given a second term in office of Douglas House, Owerri.
