OKWUDOR PEOPLE’S ASSEMBLY, (OPA) ABA BRANCH PAY COURTESY CALL ON NJABA SOLE ADMINISTRATOR – Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba
The performing and goal oriented Sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, Etiokwe Njaba, has been commended by Okwudor People’s Assembly, Aba Branch, for his doggedness and goal oriented leadership.
The delegation of Representatives of OPA ABA branch eulogized Etiokwe Njaba for his courage and commitment which they said has led to successful downgrading of insecurity threats and restored normalcy to the environment.
Led by the president of OPA Aba Branch, Mr Azuka Egemonu, and the Secretary, Mr Emeka Duru, the woman leader and other notable members of the Association, they expressed their happiness with the way the sole Administrator has been conducting the affairs of the council.
Presenting an address onbehalf of the assembly, the secretary, Mr Emeka Duru reiterated the resolve of the assembly to be fully committed to the ideals of development assuring that they will continue to support the Sole Administrator and the governor. In their words “..we have come to demonstrate our unalloyed support to your political ambitions, thus felicitating with you over this appointment as the chairman of the council by the State Governor, Chief Hope Uzodimma (Onwa). We want to assure you that you can always count on us for support …” They further reminded the Sole Administrator of the need to assist in sociopolitical programs and projects that will impact lives in Okwudor and beyond, within the Njaba jurisdiction.
The contingent all took turns to commend the sole Administrator and urged him to continue to sustain the good performance standard for which Okwudor is known for.
One of the delegates reiterated how he was attacked when he came home during the violent times. He described his experience as horrible having survived gunshots but expressed his appreciation for how the sole Administrator has changed the narratives and restored peace and order in Njaba. He expressed his appreciation to Onwa Oyoko for his good works.
Welcoming the OPA to the council headquarters, Amb. Anthony Akalugo commended them for the well thought out plan of embarking on the courtesy call, reaffirming support and pledging support going forward. He urged them to continue to be good ambassadors of Okwudor wherever they are and to think home for the good of all.
In his response speech, Etiokwe Njaba thanked OPA Aba Branch for the courtesy call and for their pledge to commit to supporting the good works of the governor and the efforts at the local government area. He reminded them that town unions are known as catalyst for development and that the past communal development strides that played pivotal role in the development of communities in Njaba remain significant and charged the current leaders to reinvent the collectivist stand of town unions in order to compliment the Government in development ideals.
The high point of the visit was the presentation of award from the OPA Aba Branch, to the Sole Administrator, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi.
Etiokwe Njaba, is indeed Oputaobie Njaba, a man of unassailable commitment of sociopolitical and socioeconomic development of Njaba Local Government and an integral player in the state governance architecture. Thank you Your Excellency for giving Omere Njaba Juoyi as the chief servant.
