NJABA WOMEN HOLD 2023 AUGUST MEETING WITH ETIOKWE NJABA, ABANA, UJU, AND OTHER LEADERS IN ATTENDANCE

The victory over insecurity and spiralling consequence of fears in Njaba Local Government Area, has continued to manifest in various folds. Not only has full business life been restored in and around the council headquarters and the entire Njaba area Council, and people who earlier ran away from home returned to resume normal life activities, courtesy of the good efforts deployed by the Sole Administrator of Njaba, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi in line with the vision of the 3R Shared prosperity Government of Sen. Hope Uzodimma, normalcy has been restored in all facets of life. Socioeconomic activities have begun to bloom.

Njaba is no more witnessing pockets of criminal activities unlike in the past when lives and properties were threatened. The disheartening climax of such inglorious moments was the gruesome murder of two traditional rulers and various injuries sustained by some other traditional rulers that led to amputation of limbs. Significant was also the horrible attack on a lawyer who plies his trade in Njaba, had his face shattered and his car burnt, only survived by the Special grace of God. All that are now in the past.

Etiokwe Njaba came in to weather the storm, restored normalcy and revived socioeconomic life in the Local Government Area.

Women of Njaba have placed imprimatur on this calmness and restoration of normalcy and assembled in folds to celebrate 2023 August meeting at the council headquarters.

Some leaders of the local government area and friends graced the occasion. Among the throng of leaders includes the sole Administrator of Njaba, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, GLO Amucha ward 1 and CEO Gozie Abana Foundation, Hon. Chigozie Ibenjo, CEO Uju Boutique and Collections, Mrs Uju Nwaugo, Dr BMC Amadi, HRH Eze Anthony Onyeka, Obi IV of Nkume, wife of HRH Eze Victor Ijeoma, of Isiozi Akah, Amb. Anthony Akalugo, the Leadership Sustainability Coach, Hon. Chief Dan Onumara, APC chairman Njaba, Hon. Obikeze Anaemem and other ward Chairmen, Dr ABC Odika, and a host of other dignitaries, graced the occasion.

Presenting his address, Etiokwe Njaba reminded the women of the need to continue to play their important roles as the stabilizers of the family adding that without women, there is no home. He further said that men are what they are, great achievers and champions because the women are behind taking care of essential home fronts. He urged them to use the same measure of commitment to home affairs to support the good initiatives of our dear governor for the good of all.

Oputa Obie Njaba enjoined the women to take the message of consolidation of good works of the Government of Sen. Hope Uzodimma to the nooks and crannies of the local government area, adding that reward for good work is more work. According to Etiokwe, His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko deserves another turn as he has effectively delivered in his first tenure, and has surpassed expectations in various fronts which includes infrastructural revolution, administrative dexterity, welfare of civil servants, dredging of Ogbuide Degema to Atlantic ocean, etc.

Abana Njaba, reassured the women of his consistent support to them and urged them to suport the re-election of Gov. Hope Uzodimma, adding that it is the best bet for Njaba and imo State in general to re-elect Onwa Oyoko for another tenure of office.

Hon. Mrs Pat Odika thanked the sole Administrator for his support that made the event a huge success and also extended the appreciation of women to the dignitaries who graced the occasion for identifying with them.

Women of Umuseke, the landlord of Nnenasaa has earlier in the week conferred on Oputaobie Njaba, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, the deserving title of ‘Omere Njaba Juoyi’.
