The attention of Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, has been drawn to a poorly scripted piece written by one Onwuasoanya F C. C. Jones, a man known in the media space as a perennial non conformist, always seeking for a way to be visible albeit in ignominy.
Safe for the sake of unsuspecting citizens who may not realise that this young man has carved an identity of a media extortionist believing that it is only through such means that he can curry attention of people, hoodwink authorities, engage in subtle blackmail and reap huge from deceit of unsuspecting public, we would have ignored his attempt at rousing public misgivings.
This is exactly the same strategy he deployed when he consistently attacked the former government of Rescue mission when he shouted to high heavens until he grabbed the position of campaign media director of same Rescue mission and received huge financial reward. He is back to his familiar trade, this time around, presenting a contradicting stance.
According to Onwuasoanya F.C Jones, the Five Billion Naira state palliative funds for each state announced has already been been misappropriated, even when the said fund has not been released to the states. He alleged that the governor, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma has, according to him, allegedly dipped hands into the funds to help himself. When he could not substantiate whether the said fund has been released, he went on speculative opinion ranting that shows his mischievous inclination to misinforming people.
After his misadventourous allegation, he demonstrated his impoverished perspective alleging that his Excellency, Sen Hope Uzodimma uses private Jets ostensibly an ostentatious lifestyle that fleeces the accounts of the state, this is a clear case of a little mind who doesn’t understand privileges and possibilities of profiled personality.
What Onwuasoanya FCC Jones failed to realise is that our dear governor, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma has proved to be a prudent resource manager of the state. He has shown that it is possible to run the state at a high speed of socioeconomic development without plunging the state into debts. Jones has surreptitiously attempted to associate the governor’s prudent approach to governance with the ugly conduct of his predecessor, who FCC Jones served as a Frontline media warrior.
For point of clarity, Sen. Hope Uzodimma has done very well to reposition the state and in terms of empowerment, welfare, staff remuneration, infrastructure, suitable distribution of wealth, et al, he has shown excellent capacity. He is not given to ostentatious lifestyle but highly involved in national and subnational governance.
Gov. Hope Uzodimma, who bought brand new SUV vehicles for Ndi Eze, showed uncommon commitment to promoting the identity of Ndi Imo, a record that has not been in place in the past. A governor who invested huge resources to digital skillup of imo citizens, construction of quality roads and drainage systems, dredging of Ogbuide Orashi Degeme to the Atlantic ocean for establishment of export free zone, et al is not one who is given to frivolities.
Recall that recently, there was a distribution of palliative materials delivered by NEMA for regions that needed emergency provisioning. His Excellency facilitated release of more materials for the state and it was distributed across all LGAs stating that every Imo citizen needs assistance.
This is a man who thinks more and acts more than others and doesn’t see any sense in coverting public wealth to himself. This is a man who is filled with human milk of kindness and therefore not given to inordinate acquisition of wealth.
It is therefore evident that Mr FCC Jones Onwuasoanya is a systemic usurper who plies his trade hoodwinking gullible people to come for negotiation with him. His weapon is subtle blackmail, which could lure opposition to bargain with him or to blackmail ruling government to consider his terms.
Let it be known as a fact that the governor has done enough to earn convincing victory at the polls and doesn’t need to contrive any untoward economic strangling strategy, as alleged by Jones, to pummel Imo people to helpless Sterling political strategy of hunger and benevolent largesse.
Imo Hope for Good Governance, IHFGG, therefore warns FCC Jones and his likes to desist from misinforming imo people who are now wiser than falling to his antics.
Once the Federal government releases the allocation to imo State, our charitable and performing Governor already has effective blueprint and strategy to ensure that it is distributed to all nooks and crannies and would not need FCC Jones and his cronies as alarmist before taking actions.
We stand by His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma for his good works to Ndi imo, South East and Nigeria in general. He is playing developmental politics and it is showing, we love and trust His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodimma. He will be rewarded with second tenure in office, political scavengers should beware.
