MINISTERIAL LIST NOT READY\u2026. says presidency<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Dele Alake, who is the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, today informed journalists in State House, Abuja, that no ministerial list is ready and any insinuation of such should be treated as a hoax .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAbout the ministerial list, there is no iota of truth in all of those things,\u201d Alake said. \u201cWhen the President is good and ready, you will be the first to know about his intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can tell you all of those things you\u2019ve been reading in the media are mere fabrications. This is an executive presidency; we\u2019re not running a parliamentary system. So, the President, the bucks stops on his table, and he decides when it\u2019s fit and proper for him to make his cabinet list.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recall that the constitution gives the President 60 days to constitute his cabinet. The president has therefore not authorised any list of ministerial nominees and nothing like that is ready.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
