A 20 years old 200 hundred level student of the Federal University, Wukari, in Taraba State known as Mark Sagraga has reportedly been stabbed to death by unknown cult members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark Sagraga who is a Biological Science student though an off campus student was stabbed to death while returning home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark’s body was found early hours of friday close to the compound wher he resides in Wukari few distance to the university main gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident, which reportedly occurred Thursday night, has begun to generate tensions in the school premises and surrounding communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Unoin Government ( SUG) Secretary General of the university, Comrade Linus Mary Samuel, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Friday, said the assailants also made away with the deceased’s mobile phone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFederal University Wukari Mourn. In the early hours of today Friday 16th July, 2023 around 4am at the SUG Lodge, we received a terrifying call, informing us of a student lying on the ground off campus,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“My president, Right comrade Darlington Musa, the SUG President Federal University Wukari, and myself hurriedly called the School Security, Dean Of Student affairs to intimate them about the development, while we drove on the SUG Car to the scene a ‘Student Villa off campus close to the main gate of the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“On reaching there we found in a pool of blood a lifeless body of a student who is later identified as Mark Sagarga. A 200 Level student of Biological science Federal University Wukari<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Together with the school security, the police, and the Dean we took Mark’s body to the General Hospital Wukari where he was certified dead by the Doctor in charge, and his body was embalm in the mortuary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“While the SUG Body commiserates with Mark’s immediate family, the university community and the entire Federal University Wukari students for this huge loss to us all, we assure you that the perpetrators of this heinous act will not go unpunished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe shall do all within our reach to make sure they are brought to book, and made to face the full wrath of the law. Adieu Mark!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staff of the institution, who also confirmed the incident in confidence, said the news of the gruesome murder of the twenty-year-old students emerged as a rude shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staff who could not give a detailed account of the incident said, \u201cwe were told that after he was stabbed to death in Wukari town, his remains were deposited close to where he resides within the town.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
