The positive record of accomplishments as a representative of Njaba Constituency, 2015 -2023, by Rt. Hon. Amb. Uju Jovita Onwudiwe, PhD, Igolo Njaba received commendation on Sunday, 24th September, 2023, in the ancient kingdom of Okwudor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good people of Okwudor Ebenasato, comprising of Okwudor and Ihebinowerre Autonomous Communities organised a homecoming ceremony to receive the woman jinx breaker who, the people of Okwudor Ebenasato said made them proud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encomiums poured from various people and shades of applause rent the air as the former gazelle of the Legislative house was received by her people in a unique event not ever witnessed in Njaba, the Federal Constituency or the Senatorial District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea of receiving a public servant after her tenure of two sessions in the legislature was remarkable and it attested to their love and value for her exploits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chairman of the occasion, Chief Vincent Egbuchilem, popularly called Ochendo, Ugoebenaja, articulated the unique personality of the woman described as of inestimable value, clad with sincerity and integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Ugoebenaja, the chairman, Igolo Njaba inspired him to love politics because according to the business mogul and Community leader, he saw sincerity of purpose and the true commitment to service of humanity through her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A group of over 230 beneficiaries of Igolo Njaba facilitation for N-Power program represented by Ms Ezinne Ibezim eulogised the former Lawmaker for her help that got them the success. Adding to it was the President General of Okwudor, Hon. Joachim Mbama, speaking onbehalf of Okwudor Ebenasato, comprising of Okwudor and Ihebinowerre Autonomous Communities, the youths, women and the entire people, congratulated Igolo Njaba for finishing on high note and for making Okwudor proud. The eulogies couldn’t end without Chief Barr. Chris Duru, former Clerk of Imo State House of Assembly, coming to place his seal of approval on all that were said, affirming that as the clerk, within her tenure in the house of Assembly, he attests to her indefatigable delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okwudor leaders concluded by praying that the land of Okwudor will sustain and bless her for making Okwudor proud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Litanies of her accomplishments were narrated which were acknowledged by all as a new standard in Legislative report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, representing the governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma expressed his warm feelings and Goodwill of the governor about the reception for a woman he said was a true personality of repute. He assured Okwudor and Njaba people that since they have come to honour her for the much she has achieved, they should be ready for her stepping forth to a higher service level at Abuja, which according to the erudite leader, she merits both in experience and academic attainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okwudor people unanimously assured the Deputy Governor of the resolve of Okwudor to give total support to the re-election of Sen Hope Uzodimma, Onwa Oyoko, who, according to the PG of Okwudor, is a son of Okwudor by training, association and friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Igolo Njaba is the first person from Okwudor to represent any of our political constituencies including, State, Federal and senatorial district, since 1960. She is therefore a jinx breaker setting a new standard of performance. She is the first female legislator to represent Njaba state Constituency and the second legislator from Njaba Constituency in its history, to be reelected for second tenure in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebration started with Thanksgiving mass at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Okwudor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaders across Njaba and the state thronged the event to share in the joys of Igolo Njaba and the people of Okwudor Ebenasato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
